It's hard to imagine living without parents, without food, without hope — but this is the reality for the 300-plus orphans living in Lodwar, a remote city in the Turkana region of Kenya. Climate change and economic hardship leave the people in this town without basic necessities, but a small group of neighborhood churches has answered the call to show these children the love of Christ by taking them into their homes and inviting them into their families and communities.

The Un[embraced] Foundation is about a small group of neighborhood churches in Los Angeles helping those churches in Lodwar embrace these children by placing them in homes of loving caregivers.
